Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a Manufacturers in the UK or EU that are Fair Wear certified (or similar) and use organic cotton and recycled polyester. We are a small but fast growing company and want to get our hoodies made closer to home so we can visit the manufacturers and work together on designs, ideally we would love to find one in the EU so that we do not have to pay import which hit us hard last year.

Last year we got our hoodies made in China and the quality was outstanding, they really do have some great machinery that I am struggling to find in UK / European Union! We need to get some samples made asap, with the full batch needing to be ready at the end of November! We have almost finished the designs for them and can send an example of our existing hoods..

They are feature-full with lots of pockets, we have 3 designs and 3 sizes in each design.

Any information anyone has on who to contact would be very much appreciated, we have been going in circles through web search alone.

Really pleased to of found this forum, some really great stuff on here!

I'm looking for recycled polyester fabrics, white or off-white. Does anyone know of a supplier who sells smaller quantities and/or is based in London/the UK? I'd also be interested to team up with someone to get the required minimum order if you're based in London.

Hello,

I am in the process of sourcing fabrics for my new collection. So far, it looks like recycled polyester is something impossible to get, unless in huge quantities. Did anyone have experience with it, or has any advice?

Any help would be great!

I am doing a stem project based on making a new fiber. I have decided to use recycled waste materials. So far i've been looking into using dryer lint and maybe even hair. I'm going to do a lot of testing when i get back to school so far i thinkthe lint could be felted.

Got any insight? What do you think of dryer lint,is it plausible?

I was recently introduced to the process used to recycle cotton fabrics and offcuts. Unfortunately I haven't yet been able to locate a supplier of this fabric near home Australia/South East Asia/India.
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this process and whether they know of any suppliers in my vicinity.
Any information anyone might have would be extremely helpful!
Thanks alot
