Sustainable Design in the Real World is just an Educators Fantasy.....Discuss!
As a designer, do you believe that sustainable design is the right approach? As an educator, are you embedding sustainability into your teaching? But, have you ever had any (secret) doubts about the viability of this approach in the real world?
Please join us for an event at Chelsea College of Art & Design on Friday 16th July, 2 - 4pm, that addresses some of these issues. This debate, with its provocative contention is intended to air many of the counter- arguments associated with sustainable design, that are often unspoken. The line up of speakers will be announced shortly on the TED blog.
What argument could there possibly be against apple pie and mother ? Well, apple pie can make you fat and mother can make you guilty......
No need to RSVP - just turn up to Chelsea on Friday afternoon, after viewing the Texprint graduates’ work earlier and sit in the cool at 2.00pm for some more fresh thinking!
