REDDING, CA, Mar. 1, 2010 — Adoria announces its second annual international fashion show at the Shascade Event Center at 6:30pm May 1st, 2010. This live event of international and domestic designers will showcase over 60 individual pieces in the art of recycled and inspired couture.

Last May, at the Simpson University auditorium, Adoria produced one of the largest fashion shows in Redding's history. A recent publication described Adoria's designs as “elegant and classic”. Jessica Akers, the creative director and owner of Adoria Designs, started this design house with three local and international designers to create a clothing company the community could get involved with and people could feel great about themselves to wear. Jessica Akers was quoted as saying, “We want to create garments that create an experience and allow us to be a part of your life and memories, instill joy, peace, and love whenever our garments are worn. To create pieces for individuals that represent what they are, and who they are, from the fabric to the cut of each piece.”
 
Adoria Design House is a collective of international and regional designers who have joined together for a common vision of providing a platform to showcase their creativity and to have an inspirational voice in today’s culture.
 
Adoria supports fair trade and is working alongside organizations around the world to abolish the sex trade and other injustices. A portion of the proceeds from the show and website will be given to those organizations.
