The ETI will demonstrate how they ha ve provided support when retailers/ brands try to improve working cond itions, for example helping them understand the country, where the fac tory is based, culture and regulations in order for the retailer to †˜pick their battle’ and successfully improve conditions.\n\nAlex Smi th and Clare Lissaman\nAlex Smith has worked as a buyer for 19 years, most recently as New Product Buying Manager for Oxfam’s sustainable fashion boutiques. Alex now offers project management on ethical strat egies in the supply chain.\nClare Lissaman is a consultant on labour s tandards in global supply chains.
