Global Action Through Fashion invites you to join us on April 8th 2010 at the Hub SoMa in San Francisco for the First Bay Area Ethical Fashion Night. This fun social event will stimulate discussion and awareness around socially and environmentally responsible fashion in the Bay Area and beyond.

The event will include time for networking and socializing while local producers of fashion and fair trade products will be able to share and sell their work and visual displays will provide an educational experience for those in attendance.

Because a new certification for Fair Trade apparel and textiles will be launching for the first time in the US this year, speakers at this first Ethical Fashion Social will come from different backgrounds and experience in the Fair Trade apparel industry.

This event will commemorate the first month of the Hub SoMa as well as the launch of Global Action Through Fashion, a non-profit dedicated to promoting socially and environmentally responsible fashion through education and networking events in the Bay Area.
