Creative challenge Masterclass
Mo is an academic, consultant & researcher. An expert in sustainable applications to fashion – from the creative and conceptual to the practical, builds on a 20 year creative & management career in the fashion industry. She is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Management and Marketing at UCA and a Senior Research Fellow in Sustainable & Ethical Fashion Systems at Central St Martins. Her work supports a practical approach to the linking of research to active sustainable change in fashion consumption, marketing, promotion and supply, chains that is rooted in an understanding of what defines fashion, in terms of business demands and creative structures.
The Masterclass will use case study examples of sustainable fashion as part of successful global fashion business models, also examining sustainable interventions that drive creativity and innovation in small scale fashion, textiles and craft enterprise, considering a variety of fashion paradigms, from the small scale and hand made to the mainstream and luxury brands.
