As conventional materials and resources become increasingly financially and environmentally costly, designers are seeking future solutions that draw upon unconventional means.

 

Find out about:

  • Fabienne Felder’s Powerhouse Moss system, which seeks to provide wellbeing, increase air humidity and potentially generate electricity
  • Hoyan Ip’s visionary application of waste fruit pulp as an alternative to plastic substrates
