Afro-Chique is a ready-to-wear women's clothing brand that combines the cultural identity of African prints with the stylish influence of contemporary London. The designer, Janice Morrison, creates each collection with close attention to detail, resulting in bold, well-defined feminine designs.
In 2008, Afro-Chique was launched producing a fantastic range of clothing and accessories that reflects the brilliant prowess of Caribbean culture and attitude, expressed with colours and fabrics native to the African continent. The designs are combined to produce outfits that suit today’s urban chic, confident and beautiful city girl.
Career history / Company history:
My first job after graduating was with the Marks & Spencer’s as a Visual merchandiser. I was then employed by River Island as a Mobile visual merchandiser. After this job, I began working in various fashion roles such as P.R, Personal shopping and Buying. Having taken on various roles within the fashion industry this has given me the knowledge and experience to start my own fashion business.
