EFF in France?

I am Norwegian, based in France and would like to connect with like-minded in France and also, of course in the rest of the world . I don't at all mind sourcing from England and I seem to have to do it, as I have trouble finding suppliers in France. Biulding up EFF in France or finding something similar there would be gold for me.
There's a huge potential for production in France, as the textile business is so large, but I find the awareness level when it comes to being eco friendly and sustainable a bit low - can anybody prove me wrong? PLEASE!
