Well done. Ethics in fashion do begin with fabrics and your website offers the best background information on fabrics Ive come across. However you omit the most ethical of all fabrics - wool which is a free by-product and no mention is made of the main problem with cotton, organic or otherwise. It is so water-hungry that it reduces already scarce supplies needed for drinking washing and food production.
Fair trade is not an economic solution but an awareness campaign. Simply paying slightly more in wages does not resolve the one thing that is needed to overcome poverty. Ensuring that the bulk of the profits remain with the producer yto allow them to develop, expand and create more jobs.
