David McGill, seriously, i am game to what you wrote about. If it will please you, then we should think of doing a fashion show on this in Cameroon (Anrette can be of much help) or we could arrange to sell the product to potential investors. Please could you holla as soon as you can?
Take care and God Bless ur efforts.
Hi David,
This sounds like a fantastic project and your website is very infomative. Perhaps there will be some collaberative work that we can do in the future.

...haha! i have a lot of scottish family. Your tartan venture sounds fun, im not actually sure time would permit me to have influence on such a project but by all means let me know ur situation and if i can get involved, i will... there are a lot of opportunities out here in the fashion world & the koreans/japanese are crazy about sustainability, lots of shows/exhibitions happening etc. I may not respond straight away bcos im 9hrs into the future and im running all over Asia for the next 8 weeks.
If you can give details of your product range etc, Seoul fashion week is in March/April, if you wanted to enter and get some exposure in the Asian market...id have to check it out though.
hi David

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in replying I've been on winter break from school. Critical theory can mean a lot of things but I suppose I would look say that my involvement with it deals mainly with how forms of media and art (i.e. fashion) affect and are affected by culture. I would be really interested in your insight!
I don't really know yet how much of a difference I can make but I believe in the Jewish wisdom "To Save One Life Is As If You Have Saved the World" and hope to find a starting point somewhere...
Hi David,
Sola is actually in south Africa at the present . You can email me about your project and any ideas you may have re collaborating and I will make sure he receives the information on his return

David I represent an organisation called the National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa, and am the project manager based at the Cape Town office responsible for Clothing and Textiles, Commercial Buildings and Tourism and Hospitality.
Should you wish me to assist, then I can link you up to some of the manufacturers in the Cape Town region. This depends on the type of garments you would want to manufacture as this would enable me to source a suitable company.

Like what you are doing!
I don't have a need for tartan right now, but will bear it in mind for the future.
Bonnie goodbye for now
