Hello Marle, Im pleased to hear you love South Africa. Theres much to love and I like to hear people expressing pride in their heritage and potential.

I have something that will almost certainly interest you and which is to be used for the betterment of South Africa. If you look at the pics on my profile you will see a young woman modelling the first garment ever made in the South African tartan. The design incorporates the colours in the flag of South Africa. I produce 20 + accessories and gifts in the tartan as well as sheets of wrapping paper overprinted 'proudly South African'.

Not only is this the most eco-friendly of textiles but a percentage of the profits of sales from all cloth products + 1US$ from each sheet of paper must be donated to humanitarian or business start-up projects in South Africa.

Im already supporting two projects in the Cape Town area and work with craftworkers in World Women Trade Fair. I am now looking at producing the design in fairtrade certified organic cotton and a range of gift/carrier bags

If you are interested please give me an e-mail address and I'll send you more information.
