Ally Bee Knitwear launches all-British Alpaca & Wool Knitwear

Founder of new British knitwear label, Ally Bee, is pleased to announce the online launch of the label's first collection at ally-bee.com. The ready-to-wear AW14 collection of fully-fashioned sweaters and accessories are knitted in a small factory in the Scottish Borders in bespoke British-grown alpaca and select British wool yarns. Styles are uncontrived modern designs for everyday wear in 4 un-dyed natural shades and 3 hank-dyed colours.

Alpaca is hand-selected to ensure the softest fibres of the clip are processed, and spun in a small mill in the south of England, close to where the raw fibre is collected. Bluefaced Leicester clip is processed in Yorkshire, and the mill sources in the north of Engand via the British Wool Marketing Board. With zero air miles in production and the assurance of high British standards of animal welfare, the brand celebrates luxury, British provenance and sustainability.

Retail prices from £59.50 to £299. Open to trade enquires for AW14 and from January 2015 a focused wholesale offering will be available. All enquiries to Alison Baker at info@ally-bee.com. www.ally-bee.com.
