I am on the look out for a job where I can combine my experience with making a difference.
About me / About business or organisation:
I've been working in the fashion industry for a number of years across retail, press and buying and have become disillusioned with the corporate way. There has to be a better way of doing business so that everyone benefits rather than the rich getting richer and the poor staying put.

My name is Aline, I work for ABIT - The Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association, which represents the integration of the Brazilian textile chain. In order to help Brazilian companies grow both nationally and internationally, ABIT, with the partnership of APEX-Brasil, Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, created Texbrasil, Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program, in 2001.
One of our main activities is to promote articulation between international buyers and Brazilian companies, improving our trade relations. International trade agents and/or buyers interested in our products might be invited to come to Brazil, with travelling expenses sponsored by ABIT, so they can get to know more about Brazilian fashion.
I am now responsible for inviting international buyers to a ethical fashion event that is coming up next November in Brasília, Brazil. It will be a great opportunity for the world to see the innovative combinations of design with traditional techniques, great natural beauties with technological tools and preservation of the environment with social work.
Please, let me know if you are interested and I will send you more information.
