- I am a hardworking and dedicated individual with over five successful years experience within sales and recruitment roles. I am looking for a position in which I can combine my career experience with my International Fashion Marketing degree. Most importantly, I'm determined to join a team that holds ethical fashion at the root of it's practice. I am extremely passionate about this niche area of the industry and would welcome the opportunity to meet with any ethical fashion brands to discuss my experience.
- Career history / Company history:
- Whilst the majority of my career experience has been within fast paced commercial environments, I have never been the type of person to measure my worth or success by material or monetary value. I have increasingly become more aware of the damage that our modern consumer driven behaviour is causing to so many different areas, and am now dedicated to finding a role in which I can utilise my skills to contribute in the right ways.
Within my career history, I have learnt so many invaluable skills around task management, consultative approaches, relationship building, sales, marketing, profit and loss/financial management etc. During my University studies, I expanded my understanding of the fashion market and its workings, and even took the opportunity to visit factories in Shanghai, China.
Outside of my career history, I feel my passion and experience for voluntary work and travel will also make me a great addition to any ethical fashion team. I have always been a caring and compassionate person, often taking time to volunteer such as spending a month working with an orphanage in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and spending time and helping prepare Christmas dinner for the local elderly community whilst in Leeds. I also took the opportunity to spend several months travelling in 2015/2016. I completely immersed myself into different cultures, which I have a great deal of respect for.
Outside of the above, whilst I am not fluent in any language other than English, I am currently learning to speak Farsi. A business that would benefit from a multilingual employee would be a great motivation for me to learn further languages, which I am keen to do.
