Soul of Africa - Shoes that do More than just Look Good!

Creating self-sustainable employment and changing the lives of orphans and vulnerable children

This A/W'12, Soul of Africa, a non-profit charity organization based in South Africa, have created and designed a collection of shoes that not only raises money for a good cause but also includes styles and designs that embody quality and class with a nod to the key catwalk trends.

The women’s collection features gorgeous leather in a variety of styles ranging from pumps to boots which can be paired to any outfit. A mixture of silhouettes swing from African Maze - lace up wedge - to the beautiful yet simple African Fairy - ballet flat made of soft leathers and clean-cut lines.  While the men’s collection is classic and premium and consists of styles such as Safari Walk - a modern loafer that features careful stitching and a beautiful finish - the Safari Call - a perfect everyday lace-up leather shoe made for the office hours to the after-hours. Each style has been carefully handcrafted and designed for comfort, quality and class.

Lance Clark, 6th generation of the Clarks Shoe Family began Soul of Africa in 2003. Soul of Africa donates a 20% of the profits generated from the sale of the shoes it manufacturers to the Soul of Africa Trust. Soul of Africa supports a variety of projects that give children opportunities, which they would otherwise be denied. To see all the projects that Soul of Africa support CLICK HERE.

Lance Clark says "This education programme funded by Soul of Africa for orphans and vulnerable children affected by the AIDS pandemic gives them a real start in life. Purchasing the Soul of Africa shoes enables us to extend this and other programmes for the children.”

Walk in style this season and feel proud to be wearing a shoe that does more than just look good. Soul of Africa has raised over £1.3 million to provide for some 7,000 orphans to date. Soul of Africa shoes are available online here and in selected stores in the UK.
