Slavery: It Comes With Your T-shirt… by UQLELE

Did you know that 1,4 million children are forced to work in Uzbek cotton fields? Or that shoes and bag industry Chinese workers will work up to 21 hours in a day, for a month straight?

We recently discovered the Slavery Foot Print Homepage  that “allows consumers to visualize how their consumption habits are connected to modern-day slavery”.

Go ahead, do the survey. It is free, and it is only 4 or 5 minutes of your time.

I personally discovered that 67 "slaves" worked for me, especially for making my wardrobe.

It certainly relieves us to be able to locally manufacture UQLELE products. It’s hard, but we must know it to change the way we buy cheap, beautiful and trendy things,

How many "slaves" work for you?
