Red Gold - free film screening & drinks reception

Why are jewellers signing a pledge opposing the proposed new Anglo American gold and copper mine in Bristol Bay, Alaska?

Because
- Bristol Bay is home to the world's largest remaining wild sockeye salmon runs.
- 80% of the local community have said they don't want the mine.
- the mine would pose a threat to the salmon, the water, and peoples' way of life.

Come and watch the award-winning film Red Gold. Beautifully shot, it sets out the issues, and the opposition. Hear from Alaska Natives who will be in London. And join us for a drinks reception.

Time: 7-9pm
Date: Thursday 4th November
Place: Frontline Club, 13 Norfolk Place, London W2 1QJ
