Girl About Town - It's Cold Outside...

Keeping up with the theme of 'do it yourself', here's another event - where you can get involved in making something new from something old. The Fashion and Textiles Museum located in Bermondsey, London, is holding a winter warmer beanie workshop on the 14th of February.
With the expert advice of milliner Mary Jane Baxter you can learn how to recycle an old jumper into a unique and cosy beanie hat or turban!

And even if you can't make it to that workshop, the museum itself is well worth a visit. Founded by the iconic British designer Zandra Rhodes, the museum is a centre for contemporary fashion, textiles and jewellery. It celebrates the creativity of artists and designers past and present, and is a rich resource of inspiration for new generations.
