Behavioural change social enterprise Wakeup Campaign are organising a Clothing Swap!

 

This is no ordinary 'shwop'-shopping event,'Conscious Swap Shopping' is an exploration of our consciousness through the way we consume behave, shop and feel by introspectively debating on identity, habits, behavioural patterns and the psychoanalysis of our shopping rituals.

 

You will have the opportunity to bring your clothes and swap them, hear from influential speakers from the fashion/lifestyle industry, have your clothes cutomised by a professional costume designer, interact with the designs around the space, buy from ethical designers, become immersed in fashion for change and more.

Here’s how it works:

• Go through your closet and pull out any still-in-good-condition, clean clothes that you no longer want.
• Set all of it in a bag and bring them to the above address on the above date - simple!

It doesn’t matter how much you bring or how much you take. Fancy or casual – it’s all good. Any season is fine. Somehow sizes all work out too. Shoes and jewelry welcome as well. As are friends. Spread the word if it appeals to you.
