Akira Ming is an ethically made sustainable label, manufactured in India.

We make beautiful contemporary dresses and blouses using cruelty free silk AHIMSA SILK that we dye and print using age old techniques of hand dyeing and block printing by environment friendly processes.

 

What makes these clothes sustainable and ethical?

•  Every dress is made in 100% Ahimsa silk – a specially cultivated Silk made with special technology where no silk worms are harmed
•  The dyeing and printing of fabric is done in a WFTO certified Unit using Sustainably harvested gum arabica crystals and custom water binders based dyes
•  The garments are manufactured in  a WFTO certified unit Where the artisans and labor are paid fair wages and follow Zero wastage practices
