I am looking to discover or buy: more awareness and knowledge about fashion brands and retailers becoming more eco aware and how this is affecting our environment.

About me / About business or organisation:: I am a student at Nottingham Trent University and I am studying International Fashion Business. When I finish my degree I plan to work in the fashion industry as either a buyer or in PR Marketing. I recently attended the Glabal vs Ethical event at The Broadway Cinema in Nottingham, where I became more aware of the issues around sustainable fashion, which to be honest I was left in shock at some of the statistics. Follwing this lecture I have done more research into sustainable fahion and how or why ethical products have become more desirable to the new consumer. I plan to write my dissertation for my final year around this theory as I have become really interested and anxious to see what my results will be from this movement in fashion that is expanding all over the globe.
