- I graduated university in September 2009 with a degree in Graphic Design and Advertising. Since then I have been working and taking courses to expand and refine my skills in the direction of art direction, creative thinking, fashion and PR. I now have a real grasp on design, problem solving and creative thinking and I’m eager to put my skills to use.

Position – Intern
Foundation Agency is a PR and Wholesale agency for ethical and sustainable products. Since interning there I have been contacting journalists and writing press releases to try to get magazine, website and blog coverage. I am also working on some digital campaign ideas. I believe that online and social media campaigns are necessary in order to make an impact and I enjoy the different style of thinking that goes into making them work. In my dissertation at University I looked at the benefits of online campaigns and what makes them work and in my opinion the key is creating something that entertains, or, providing a function linked to what your trying to promote. I believe that campaigns like this can build brand loyalty and although it is challenging, it is rewarding when it works.
Louis De Gama 05/09/2010 to 15/12/2010
Position – Intern
As an intern for fashion designer Louis De Gama I have learnt a lot about the production of clothes from design to pattern cutting and sewing and I am now competent in those areas. As well as this, I liaised with PR companies, stylists, graphic designers and photographers and I worked on social networking sites and events to help with advertising. While I was there we had two sale events that I helped promote and a lot of profit was made each time.
All Saints 06/12/2009 to 05/09/2010
Position - Visual Merchandiser
I worked for All Saints in Fenwicks. It was a large concession, which expanded while I was there. I was involved with planning the expansion as well as the big move itself. As well as this I had to plan and map out floor moves once a month and direct others to get the job done as efficiently as possible.
For my last month working for All Saints I moved to the Kings Road store. There I worked as part of a visual team. All Saints has a very strong brand identity, which it conveys in every element from shop floor to stock and staff. Doing the visual merchandising I learnt how to be creative within a brand and without changing the identity. It also helped me understand how important a strong identity is.
