I am currently a Thomas J. Watson Fellow researching fair trade clothing communities worldwide. Merely skimming the surface of this complex web of values, ideas and intentions, I hope to come to understand the industry with greater depth as I spend time in communities that create ethical clothing and others that purchase it.
