- after 20 years spent working in my family textile company (www.zucchigroup.com) on HR recruitment and development, i'm now on a start up of a textile social space (www.l-hub.it) where people have the opportunity to make workshops, buy or sells handmade products

This has been a suprise to me...reading the article I discovered how many thinghs in common our work has! I see you run workshop for children and women too, and we share the same interests and passions...keep me posted on the development of your future HUB projects...maybe we could team up on somethings one day! I can supply you with yarn from banana. There are two types. One is hard and stiff and maybe good for ropes etc. The other is machine drawn not very think but carded before drawing. For the machine made one the rawmeterial comes from India and they call it banana silk. Let me know what you think. Take care,
I have been working with natural fibres in Nepal for a long time now and can supply you with fibre, yarns, textiles, as well as finished goods. A few years ago I exhibited at Salone del Guston in Torino and took some scarves I had made up in 'Italian' designs- Juve and Torino. Since then Ive added Rossoneri, Nerazzuri and Puccini. The rationale behind them is to harness the tribalism of football supporters with fashion to produce a unique range of ethical products. A % of the profits goes to help set up and fund womens co-operatives in Africa. Is this something that might interest you?
