- About me / About business or organisation:
- I am looking to set up my own company creating my own prints to use on scarfs and womenswear range of clothing. My main aim is to make sure that all the products are ethically manufactured and that right from the start the people involved get a fair wage and fair treatment and fair voice. Our goal is to make sure that we only work with Fair-trade/Ethical trade manufactures if possible and also set our own ethical factory in the future. We are a UK based company and want to start producing my own Print designs onto scarves and also produce women’s wear range thats suits my market range.
- Career history / Company history:
- Worked for various companies but now only want to work with ethical fashion companies. It’s a lot more satisfying to work for a company with a conscience! It’s just hard finding sources that let you create with limited resources. We need more people to become conscious in to what they are buying and look into how the people in the process line are treated to produce the product we want. We must stop stealing from the poor and start accepting that someone along the retail chain line is being cheated. Not all companies do this and people have really started to come on board and open their eyes and open their ears. Which is fantastic but we all have a long way to go and must carry on encouraging others to become fashionable yet conscious customers too.
