About me / About business or organisation:
My role at RESP is to support the delivery of RESP work program in facilitating the engagement of RRESP stakeholders.

RESP was officially launched on 1 January 2013 after years of strategic planning and project development in conjunction with the United Nations.

RESP is an international initiative that gathers actors who are involved in, influence, regulate or support global value chains in the cosmetics, fashion and/or jewellery industries.

Employing a unique structure, RESP harnesses the innovative, creative and aspirational power of these industries to support a paradigm shift towards sustainable behaviour and policies.

RESP’s mission is to create net positive environmental, social and economic impacts by fostering business-driven change towards the sustainable use of biodiversity and natural resources, based on effective collaboration between the cosmetics, fashion, jewellery industries and its key stakeholders. Objectives:

RESP will achieve its mission by facilitating the design and implementation of business models that improve natural resource-based value chain management. It will do so by:
• Enhancing the understanding of risks and opportunities associated with the sustainable use of natural resources and biodiversity, and its subsequent socio-economic impacts;
• Inciting change towards sustainable development by ensuring business-related sustainability issues are clear and valuable for all stakeholders;
• Providing tools that support enhanced communication and awareness of issues and actions implemented in this area.

In this sense, RESP aims to create market opportunities that positively and effectively contribute to sustainable development solutions.
Career history / Company history:
I previously worked as Head of the Membership Unit at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
