About me / About business or organisation:
I Graduated in 2009, after completing my Fashion/Textile degree at UWE Bristol.
I have always been concious of the need to do my part in making sure the fashion industry moves forward towards a more sustainable, ethical future.
As a person i love to be around like-minded, creative spirits. I also love to travel, as i feel it is important to experience other countries and cultures, it is a great inspiration in my design work.
I am hoping to work with organisations bringing trade reform and sustainable production opportunities to places in Africa and India, using my passion for fashion to create social change.
Career history / Company history:
I currently work as a Visual Merchandiser for John Lewis while continually progressing my designs and ideas for my own ethical fashion line. Previously i have worked as a design and marketing assistant for Eloise Grey, I completed work experience with lingerie brand Enamore, I have worked as a visual merchandiser and sustainable fashion consultant with Hemp and Company in Victoria British Columbia, I have worked as sales and buying assistant and visual merchandiser for Purity, a sustainable clothing boutique in Farmham Surrey, and I have worked for fashioning an ethical industry, helping to educate fashion students on the importance of sustainable fashion.
