Hi Stephen, I replied to your email address a little while back but not sure if you received - looking again at your email address, not sure if it was correct?! Anyway, hope you are well and thanks again for taking the time to meet up before - it was very interesting to hear more about your work in Ethiopia (and Lambeth!). My email address is nicola.thornley@googlemail.com if you still want to send through those contacts.

All the best,

Nicola.

Hi Stephen. I'm really interested in learing more about the work that you are doing in Ethiopia, particularly with starting up fashion businesses. I currently work as a product developer at Burberry but I'm planning a trip around Africa later this year to meet and work with ethical fashion producers as a sort of fact-finding mission before I eventually set up my own business. The main aim of the trip is to see how everyone is working (from small scale factories/workshops, to individuals, to development projects) and how we can work together to increase fashion production in Africa. Do you have any projects in work at the moment that would appreciate some help for a few months, or would just like to meet up whilst I'm on my travels?

Many thanks, Nicola.

Hi Stephen, thanks for getting in touch. I had a look at the photos on flickr. Great to see how you're developing young entrepreneurs...exactly what Africa needs. As for the group involved in making silver jewellery, would it be possible for me to see some of their work. If I could get more information on them, and if they are interested I could do some marketing for them through our website and existing network of retailers, and see how it develops.
