Rise Africa Rise is a for profit social enterprise creating fashionable items that is inspired by Africa’s rise, the continent’s growing economies and various cultures as well as the abundant talent, creativity and bravery of the African people. The philosophy of Rise Africa Rise is to create fashion that makes a statement while contributing to Africa’s rise by ensuring that each item contributes to the empowerment of those producing it. Rise Africa Rise products are produced in partnership with cooperatives and socially conscious organizations in South Africa that create jobs and income for unemployed and low-skilled people from marginalized communities.
