Last year a local farmer painted these in two of my tartans to advertise his childrens farm visitor centre and launched them on April Fools Day. The pictures went round the world and he was flooded out with visitors

Hi Rebecca. The reasons why I design and produce tartan fabrics are because I can create a unique national symbol for a country by using the colours in their national flag. This in turn allows me to create a business whereby a share of the profits can go towards humanitarian projects in Africa and Asia and fund the creation of community businesses. I produce a ready to wear range of standard clothing and accessories but also collaborate with designers and act as a client for student projects. Ive just finished a fashion show of outfits designed by students at Robert Gordon University called 'The Four Seasons'. This years project is 'Americana' using US State tartans as decoration.
