I make one offs and i have a range of replicable items too. All my clothing is made from recycled clothing/fabrics sourced and printed locally.
Career history / Company history:
I came out of college with a HND in fashion in 1989 and went straight into my first job as a pattern cutter/designer for a jeans manufacturers, I then worked as a childrens wear designer for a manufacturers for two years before taking a maternity break. I then went back to designing kids wear for BHS's in house development team. I then had number two baby. Since having my family I have had my own Christening gown business and a fleece hat and scarf business. I got into teaching by accident around 8 years ago. I took a job as a technician at a local college where they ran a ND in fashion. While there i began some teaching cover in Pattern cutting/designing and was put through my teacher training qual. I stayed there for 4 years and moved to another college teaching Fashion within a ND Art and Design course. I am now at Shrewsbury college where i lecture on a ND fashion course. I have been here for about 6 years. I teach the students about manufacturing and help them to realise the cost of non-ethical manufacturing. I became so interested and passionate about this issue, that i decided to make my own range and sell them through the internet, craft fairs and party plan.

Dear Rachel,

My name is Laricea Ioana Roman and I am a student at Kingston University, London (KU ID 0942659). I am doing a Master in Marketing, Advertising and Communications and at the moment I am writing my Dissertation. My topic is related to ethical clothing, more specifically, I am investigating how personal values influence customers' decision to buy ethical clothing. In order to come up with some answers for my topic, I need some opinions from people who actually bought ethical clothes.

This is the reason why I am kindly asking you to help me and fill in my questionnaire. It will take you no more than 10 minutes and you can win three books and £30 vouchers!
