Fashion Designers interested in collaboration, inspiration and new ideas
About me / About business or organisation:
My work explores the endless possibilities between colour, shape and texture on the human form.

I create unique pieces of “wearable” textile art that incorporate ethical and innovative fibres, materials and processes.

I am passionate about keeping our rich textile heritage alive with a focus on natural dyes and hand spun yarns, incorporating these skills into modern design.

I love to push the boundaries with my materials, combining textures that should not normally appear together and processing dyes with experimental techniques that have never been used before.
Career history / Company history:
Fashion Graduate that realised I am actually a textile designer/artist and highly specialised in the use of natural dyes and hand spun yarns, with a passion for creating unique and precious materials for retail to fashion designers.

* Work with both ethical and "want-to-be" fashion designers to inspire new ideas for materials - interest from hand bag designers in New York to lingerie designers in Paris
*Design and supply unique materials to fashion designers, using traditional techniques but within modern design
* Exhibitor/Demonstrator for ICHF travelling UK throughout 2011
* Work used by international natural dye company to promote the possibilities for this dye source
*Work with existing ethical fashion designers to trouble shoot problems with natural dyes
