About me / About business or organisation:: nicci.n.is a womenswear brand created by Nicola Alexandra Napier. Nicola has been drawn to the fashion industry from a young age as her Grandmother was a dressmaker. Nicola would watch her Grandmother making clothes for herself and her sisters and from then on became increasingly interested in the fashion industry as a whole and knew this was the career path she wanted to follow. Nicola completed an Honours degree in Fashion Design for Industry in 2009 and then went on to complete a Masters degree in International Fashion Marketing in 2010 at the George Davies Centre for Retail Excellence, where she received a distinction.

After gaining experience in Fashion Retail, Buying and Design, Nicola decided to launch her own label, nicci.n.

All nicci.n. garments are made locally. Therefore reducing the carbon footprint.

Career history / Company history:: Nicola has designed a capsule collection for a high-end womenswear boutique called Meloosha in Edinburgh. The boutique is situated in Edinburghs upmarket West End Village area.

Nicola is also collaborating with tartan design company, Sakura Scotland, by designing a collection that will encorporate four of Sakura Scotlands registered tartans. The four tartans are from Sakura Scotlands Four Seasons Japanese tartan range.
