About me / About business or organisation:

I have been working in the fashion industry more that 8 years - I hold a BA Hons and MA form Surrey Institute of Art and Design ( currently known as University of the creative arts) - and postgraduate certificate in innovative pattern cutting from Central Saint Martins. Also I am gust speaker for the MA fashion course at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design

Career history / Company history:

I have been working in the industry for more that 8 yrs In the past I had the opportunity to work in different market sectors of fashion such as been part of the pattern cutting team for gold label at Vivienne Westwood. Setting up a softs and separates pattern cutting department for a major high street supplier. Also had the chance to work with new up and coming designers.

In 2009 I launched my own label. Evangelia Thomadakis London. The styles that we offer are: day wear, evening and special occasion - also we offer made to order and Bridal. Along side my company I am head of department for MSc Fashion Technology at the British Institute of Technology and E-commerce collaboration with University of Wales and academic partners with Lectra
