- Michael Hili and Donna Phibbs are documenting Aboubakar Fofana's remarkable initiative in Mali and would like to ask your help to promote our project.

- Aboubakar Fofana is the last true indigo dyer in West Africa and has made it his life's mission to teach the local rural people of Mali - particularly women the ancient methods of cultivating and dying with the indigo plant. His project will create an income for locals, teach them about permeaculture and support organic cotton farming in the region.

We are Michael Hili and Donna Phibbs, textile documentary maker and a designer. We are undertaking a project we hope you may be interested in.
