About me / About business or organisation:

My major role (other than as a consumer) in ethical fashion is work with my sport science students to explore and evaluate the charcater of the sport industries - so I don't isolate fashion from other cultural and sporitng products, such as equipment or sporting bodies.

Career history / Company history:

My university has been involved in teacher education since the 1840s and actively invovled in PE, sport and exercise teaching since the late 1940s, but it is only recently, as is the case in most of the rest of the sector, that we have begun to explore the sorts of business, commercial and cultural ethics of sports consumption in any serious way, and even then it is only a small part of our teaching and research programmes.
