Majestic Textiles Ltd began trading in 1996 after many years of research in the field of natural and organic fabrics, starting with silk and progressing to cotton and viscose. Our company was formed initially to create and design individual fabrics for couture houses for their catwalk shows. We are still in our infant years and are continually negotiating for new investment to open opportunities for expansion and growth. In 2006, Majestic Textiles moved to new premises to provide everything under one roof, with showrooms for our customers to visit and browse through the collection at their convenience.
Our fabrics are made by hand throughout the process from the rearing of the silk worms to the hand painting of our beautiful designs. Our fabrics are not only natural and very easy to wear, but they are also free from any potential allergens. Majestic Textiles ltd also produces wild silk, which is reared wild on the mulberry tree and gives a different feel to the fabric. All of our colours are vegetable dyes and we do not use any bleaching processes for the finishing of our fabric. Sadly we cannot give the complete details of our processing and manufacture procedures; we have had our offices broken into to attempt to steal our methods. We have had our samples stolen and grabbed from our stand at fabric exhibitions, which was a great strain on our staff. Still, we have overcome and have succeeded to develop a fabric like no other. Our company motto is "If you're bored with the ordinary and are looking for new and exciting fabrics, you will love our organic silk range”.
Our range is designed for bridal wear/eveningwear and special occasion wear, all made naturally and individually for our customers’ special day. We have constant enquires from the public looking for organic silk. When anyone tries our organic silk, there is no going back. The difference is tremendous and cannot be replaced with any substitutes. We specialise in designing to our customers’ needs, creating the individual and the extraordinary for the most spectacular fabric ever seen. We are happy to create new designs for the individual customer at no extra cost. As all of our fabric is hand-made, we do not need templates for screens for designs, our prices are very compatible, with no minimum orders for stock fabric.
Personal service and design detail is our mission. Majestic Textiles, Ltd. has worked with the leading design houses in the fashion industry and as such is at the creative centre of the trade. Over the last few years, we have expanded to supply the trade in general - wholesalers, manufacturers, designers, boutiques, & retailers and now direct to the public. We have recognitions in Drapers record, Brides magazine, you and your wedding and Bridal Buyer and we continually and progressively create our extra special fabric exclusively for our clients.
We have the right to call our fabric “ORGANIC” and working to-words certification for the future.
