About me / About business or organisation:

I live on the North Side of Chicago with my best friend and spouse David Paul Downs and our lovable and mischievous pets, Tomato and Peanut. I spend my time experimenting with new vegetarian recipes, designing for my indie line Pierogi Picnic, volunteering, growing my faith, reading and riding my bike.

My brother has always called me the family’s token tree-hugger. I delight in discovering new restaurants, making eco-crafts, and finding new Earth friendly products. I am inspired by vibrant colors, fresh designs, and people who dedicate their lives to helping others, animals, and the environment.

Career history / Company history:

I have worked in many different industries, from beauty to fashion to film, but now call myself a self-sustaining eco entrepreneur with my line Pierogi Picnic.

I have been designing and sewing using upcycled materials for over ten years, but only started my business venture last fall. I am thrilled to be combining my love of sustainable and ethical design with my business savvy sentiments.
