About me / About business or organisation:

I'm from Lima (Perù), but now I live in Milan. I'm really interested in social and sustainable innovation in design and I would like to work in it. I have participated in volunteering projects in some of the poorest areas of Peru since I was really young and I would like to combine fashion with social help and innovation. I'm also really interested in revaluation of local cultures (fabrics, materials, techniques and traditions) in a global market by following a fair trade system. I did an internship in a company near peruvian andes where we studied local fibers such as alpaca and vicuña, and traditional ways of dying and knitting.

Career history / Company history:

I'm a student of a master in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano, I moved to Italy at 18 in order to do my bachelor on Fashion Design in Florence, I did an internship in a company near peruvian andes called Incalpaca, where we studied local fibers such as alpaca and vicuña, and traditional ways of dying and knitting, I worked for Alpacolca, (a sustainable small company of craftwomen supported by an ONG) as a free lance designer.
