About me / About business or organisation:: My roles within the fashion industry have developed important practical skills of pattern cutting, design and team management.
I am knowledgeable and experienced in areas of fabric and garment technology, along with manufacturing and cost management. I have a real interest in the ethics of the fashion industry. Last year I volunteered for Labour Behind the Label, organising and delivering presentations on the conditions of garment workers abroad.

Career history / Company history:: My current position is as a Product Developer, supplying childrenswear to High St brands such as John Lewis and Next. I manage the development of the garment from initial design concept through to final production. Previously I have worked extensively as a pattern cutter, both at a commercial and designer level. I have also established my own business designing and producing bespoke bridal accessories.
