About me / About business or organisation:

Irish designer who graduated in September 2011 with Distinction from MA Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. Focussed on ethical mixed media textiles using hands-on techniques, including a unique approach to felting, surface embellishment and fabric deconstuction. Interested in locally produced, environmentally friendly textiles for fashion and costume.

Career history / Company history:

After 3 as a medical student and a stint as a shoe designer in Transylvania, Lisa studied Fibre Art in Dublin, completing her BA in Brighton in 2007. Since then she has worked across a range of textile disciplines, including education, fashion and film design. During her MA at Chelsea College of Art, she further developed her passion for ethically produced textiles and responsible design, concentrating on Irish wool and traditional techniques with a thoroughly contemporary feel.
