About me / About business or organisation:: Bestfairtrade.com endeavours to promote the fair trade industry - providing a definitive directory of over 400 companies selling fair trade products in the UK.

Career history / Company history:: Worked in the textile industry in Hong Kong and India - experiencing the wide spectrum of trading operations. Ended up working for Anokhi in Jaipur, India where I got first hand experience of a true fair trade business model.
Then did project management for the Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act - this gave me the idea to set up www.bestfairtrade.com and to provide a forum for companies following the fair trade model - which is of course a modern day solution for slavery around the world.
