About me / About business or organisation:: We are Junk Shop, the centre for sustainable fashion North West, based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Here at Junk we strive to make every decision made ethical. We stock our own range of garments made either from scratch using %100 reclaimed fabrics or by taking vintage pieces and completely reworking them with all our deliveries being made by bicycle.
Additionally we support young designers from all over the North West and give them an opportunity to sell and design creations in our retail space and studio, developing a creative entrepreneurial spirit.
We are also the creators of the Green Pound Voucher, which is a green currency that clearly badges which businesses are Green and can be spent in the best green establishments that are working to reduce Carbon Emissions and their impact on the environment in and around Manchester.
