About me / About business or organisation:

I have been working in consumer research for many years with particular interest and knowledge of topics including jewellery and watches, related consumer sectors including fashion, and print media. I've become increasingly involved in ethical/environmental issues over the past five years and would like to develop this as these matters become ever more urgent.

Career history / Company history:

Employed mainly in marketing in newspaper and international magazine publishing. Freelance since 1991with projects for various clients across a wide range of areas, but majors include Time-Life and (since 1994) Mintel. I have researched the jewellery and watches markets for Mintel since 1994 and in 2008 I was commissioned to research their first report on Ethical Clothing.
