Hi Julianne, I'm impressed by the fact that youre trying to place work in the USA. Im trying hard to persuade a high school in the San Francisco area to import cloth from Africa and have their school uniforms made locally. I was quite surprised that I had to put this idea to them.
I try to give my fabrics identity by using the colours in national flags or in the case of the USA the colours in State flags. Ive even designed a few in NFL team colours recently. They give accessory and fashion designers an opportunity to create products with a stronger local appeal. Thats what I meant by 'Americanising'.

Really attractive designs Juliianne. I really like the Julie Apple logo. Have you thought of 'Americanising' your collection?
