Director of Fashion Busienss Resource Studio (FBRS) at London College of Fashion

Fashion Business Resource Studio is a one - stop shop for the fashion and lifestyle industries. We are based at the Oxford Circus site of London College of Fashion and was established in 2005 to act as a single point of contact for sharing the creative, business and technical expertise of London College of Fashion with the fashion and lifestyle industries.
Supported by Higher Education Innovation Funding and regarded as a model of best practice, the Studio defines a unique way of operating, by bringing together students, academics and industry through a series of planned, mutually beneficial interventions.
Working alongside academic teams, the Studio oversees such crucial activities as convening industry advisory panels to inform curriculum development, the planning, brokering and, management of long and short term work placement programmes, the integration of industry sponsored projects and the nurturing of employability and entrepreneurial skills through coaching and career management workshops as well as graduate recruitment.

Career history / Company history:

Marketing management professional with experience of researching international fashion markets, consumer studies, developing brands (both on-line and off-line) and creative businesses start-up. I particularly enjoy working with fashion designers and companies to develop brands and help them gain an understanding of the fast-changing consumer markets and technological and ethical aspects of business.
