Heidi Mottram is internationally renowned for desirable bags and purses, which are individually designed in London, then produced from fairly traded and hand crafted, finest eel skin leather. A London College of Fashion and Central St Martins graduate, with experience working with major international designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Matthew Williamson, Heidi was one of the first designers in the UK to design accessories with eel skin. She is considered by many to be a guru for the use of the skins. Each season she works with the eel skin and other sustainable eco leathers such as salmon skin to create different textures and designs.

A handbag is known to reflect the personality of the person carrying it, as well as holding the woman’s life within it – a Heidi Mottram bag exudes style, British quality and elegance but with a touch of quirkiness.



Heidi Mottram has an ever growing fan base and her devoted customers are always keen to pick up the latest styles from her collections - with the signature fuchsia pink zip tags, these bags and purses are both beautiful and covetable. Most eel skin products on the market are traditionally smooth and linear due to the natural pattern and construction of the skin but a Heidi Mottram bag has more organic structures and textures.
