"Thanks Clare. I have heard about SA8000 although I have since been told there is a lot of fraud that goes on with this! I will take a look at WRAP and also ethical trade. Surprised there is not international body that is able to identify supply…"

"Complex area. Take a look at the Ethical Trading Intiative's website www.ethicaltrade.org. There are a couple of Standards of varying quality: SA8000 and WRAP."

Silverstick is an active lifestyle clothing company with a strong ethical theme. All our garments are made with certified organic cotton in accredited factories in Portugal. Our opening collection is made up of polos and tees. We are currently working on base layers, sweatshirts, hoodies, caps and hats for 2011.

Dear Sir,

We introduce ourselves we are a private label medium size knitted garments manufacturer and exporter. We produce T-Shirt, Polo shirts, Tank Top, Hooded Sweatshirt, Pyjamas for men, women and children based on customer's designs and specification or their original samples.

Materials used are cotton, organic cotton, polyester, poly cotton, bamboo, Soy, Modal with spandex blend. We do all type of screen printing and embroidering works as per the art work.

Range of fabrics are single jersey, rib, interlock, pique, fleece, terry in various fabric weight / GSM.

For making organic clothing, we buy yarn / fabrics directly from GOTS / Fair-trade Certified Fabric Mills.

We would be happy if you could send us reply stating your requirements.
