Co-founder of womenswear brand REIN London

REIN is Armour. Statement. Empowering. Feminist. An Innovative women’s fashion house: built upon a contemporary and forward thinking design approach. Based in London, the brand offers the wearer the ultimate in statement, one-of-a-kind design for the busy modern day woman. Inspiring women to be empowered; Everyday Luxe.

Rebecca Morter and Gemma Vanson graduated from London College of Fashion in 2013. Having already gained valuable industry experience at Alexander Wang (Rebecca) and Christopher Raeburn (Gemma), the duo spent a year in the industry working for respective fashion brands; Rebecca designing at PingHe and Gemma heading up Production for Preen.

Encouraged by The British Fashion Council's support and the overwhelming press interest, REIN was born; Launching at London Fashion Week February 2015. REIN has since been worn by Lady Gaga, LittleMix, EVE, Charlie XCX, Lisa Maffia, Alexandra Burke, Cheryl Cole and featured within various publications such as Marie Claire, ELLE, IDOL magazine, Vogue IT, TUSH, Wonderland, Hunger and many more.

REIN is a celebration of the female form, inspired by and for women. Focusing on the body as a medium; the brand explores the relationship between body and clothing, revealing and concealing, a play upon the socially acceptable and clothing's ability to empower women.

REIN showcases seasonally at London Fashion Week, selling internationally through wholesale stockists, its own e-commerce platform and monthly pop up shop events (view upcoming here). In 2016 REIN was selected for and completed a three month business incubation programme through Incubus London and held a permanent pop up shop in Camden Market for the duration.
